Students explore the mechanics of multi-digit subtraction through a trilogy of dog adventures. It's like Lord of the Rings, except shorter, and about math, and starring a dog named Scruffy.

Prime Time + Divide and Conquer: Grades 4-5
Prime Time + Divide and Conquer: Grades 4-5
60 minutes
In Prime Time, students create a colorful chart using prime factors, creating an intriguing code and reinforcing their understanding of multiples to lay groundwork for painless long division. In Divide & Conquer, students continue to de-mystify the steps of standard long division by filling colorful grids to solve problems that crack a secret code!

Face-Off + Revenge of the Faces: Grades 4-5
Face-Off + Revenge of the Faces: Grades 4-5
60 minutes
Students make fractions and decimals come to life by swapping pieces of colorful faces. They'll convert fractions to decimals and practice adding and subtracting. In Revenge of the Faces students return to their face pieces to see exactly what happens when we multiply and divide fractions.

Sticky Twists + Rocket to Mars: Grades K-1

In Sticky Twists, students twist colorful wax sticks into spirals, then break down numbers by place value in this tactile exercise. In Rocket to Mars, students “fly” from Earth to Mars by adding the number of rockets to make the correct sum.

Rock 'n' Roll Bingo + Rock 'n' Roll Hops: Grades K-3

Students make large paper dice, then learn two games to build math fluency. Younger kids have fun practicing addition and skip counting (K-3), while older kids explore multiples and partial products (3).

In Cowabunga, students explore area and perimeter by making hands-on “farms” using paper cows and wax-stick fences. In Face-Off, students make fractions and decimals come to life by drawing colorful faces on a grid, cutting the pieces, then swapping pieces to make mixed-up faces. Great for 3rd and 4th grade.
